Beyond our standard product lines, TM Induction Heating designs and builds custom induction heating solutions for industries that demand more. Our PROTHERM series represents decades of engineering expertise, applied to unique challenges in mining, electric motor production, wind energy, and other heavy industries worldwide. Every PROTHERM system is engineered and built in-house at our facility in Harderwijk, the Netherlands.
PROTHERM SERIES.
Every PROTHERM project starts with your application. Whether you need a modified standard heater, a purpose-built production machine, or a fully integrated automated system, we engineer solutions that fit your process, your parts, and your production targets. From concept to commissioning, our team works alongside yours to deliver reliable, high-performance heating technology.
PROTHERM U-LINE.
The PROTHERM U-LINE is purpose-built for the mining industry, where large crusher rolls and heavy-duty components weighing up to 100 tonnes require controlled, high-capacity induction heating. Designed for remote mining sites and demanding workshop environments, the U-LINE delivers stress-free assembly through precise and uniform heating up to approximately 200°C.
With over 20 years of proven operational reliability at customer sites worldwide, the U-LINE combines robust construction with intuitive controls. The PROTHERM U-2100 exemplifies this capability: operating at 380/400/460/480 or 575 V — 50 or 60 Hz, it handles workpieces up to 75 tonnes with a coil diameter of Ø 1000 mm. Target temperature is 160°C (max 240°C), reached through a tension-free heating process that prevents structural damage.
PROTHERM S-LINE.
The PROTHERM S-LINE features a sliding yoke design that delivers maximum flexibility when heating large and irregularly shaped components. The yoke slides open to accommodate the workpiece, then closes for optimal heating efficiency — making it ideal for production environments where speed and versatility are essential.
Widely used in gearbox manufacturing and rolling stock, the S-LINE is available in various shapes and sizes. Custom coils can be engineered for wide inner diameters — bearings, rings and housings — to ensure even heating of the workpiece. The PROTHERM S-C600 operates at 380/400/460/480 or 575 V — 50 or 60 Hz, and handles workpieces up to 5000 kg with a coil diameter of Ø 800 mm.
PROTHERM H-LINE.
The PROTHERM H-LINE features a tilting U-core design that makes mounting and dismounting workpieces fast and effortless. Available on a trolley and optionally equipped with an integrated hoist, the H-LINE is specifically engineered for compact and tall components that require precise, uniform heating.
Particularly suited for renewable energy and industrial applications, the H-LINE has been delivered to major players worldwide. The PROTHERM H-900 operates at 380/400/460/480 or 575 V — 50 or 60 Hz, handles workpieces up to 800 kg, and accommodates component heights up to Ø 900 mm.
PROTHERM STATOR HOUSING-LINE.
The PROTHERM STATOR HOUSING-LINE replaces traditional cold pressing with low-frequency induction heating for stator house assembly. This delivers uniform, stress-free expansion of motor housings — protecting windings and insulation while ensuring perfect interference fits every time.
Refined over more than 30 years of continuous development, the STATOR HOUSING-LINE handles different housing sizes without changeover or conversion, enabling high-throughput production. Examples like the PROTHERM Stator 71-132 cover DIN 71 to 132 sizes. Operating at 380/400/460/480 or 575 V — 50 or 60 Hz, the system delivers exceptional efficiency: a stator housing 132M (4.8 kg) reaches 180°C in just 64 seconds, consuming only 376 watts per cycle — over 50% energy savings compared to conventional ovens.
PROTHERM ROTOR-LINE.
The PROTHERM ROTOR-LINE delivers rapid, energy-efficient induction heating with exceptional temperature uniformity across the entire workpiece. Engineered for the automotive, aerospace, and energy sectors, the ROTOR-LINE accommodates a broad range of rotor sizes and geometries without complex changeovers.
Whether heating rotors for electric vehicle motors, aerospace turbine components, or industrial generators, the ROTOR-LINE ensures consistent, repeatable results in demanding production environments. The PROTHERM Rotor 180-575 covers rotor diameters from 180 to 314 mm, operating at 380/400/460/480 or 575 V — 50 or 60 Hz, designed for continuous, high-volume production where precision and speed are non-negotiable.
