MAINTENANCE OF WIND TURBINES.

Servicing a wind turbine means working at the very top of the tower, with only what you can ‘easily’ get up there.

THE CHALLENGE.

During the lifetime of a wind turbine, engineers need to service the generator and drives on top of the tower. To exchange bearings, couplings and gearwheels, they need a compact induction heater that can be transported up into the tower. Getting one up there is not easy!

OUR SOLUTION.

Small, robust and powerful. This heater fits through the manholes and cranes of the wind turbine. Equipped with a stainless steel housing, it is rugged and protected from the elements, so it keeps performing high up the tower where conditions are harsh.
