Extended maintenance or unexpected repairs cause downtime, cost and aggravation. All machinery needs maintenance, even heavy-duty equipment like crusher rolls. Returning them from remote mining areas back to the manufacturer is costly and time consuming.
OUR SOLUTION.
TM developed the PROTHERM U-Line (the old and well-known name in the mining industry is TM’s Easytherm 500), which offers a safe, clean and cost-effective induction heating solution that integrates easily into an existing facility. By bringing this induction heater to the market, TM reimagined how large mining companies, at remote sites, maintain their large crusher rolls.
TENSION-FREE, CONTROLLED HEATING.
To avoid tension we heat at a maximum of 1 °C per 5 minutes.
Designed specifically for the mining industry, the heater can heat crusher rolls of up to 100 tonnes kg. The heater moves while the roller stays stationary, and with a light, easy-to-handle induction coil the footprint is minimized.
