During the winding process, it is essential to account for the geometry of the workpiece. When encountering areas with thicker wall thickness, it becomes necessary to generate more heat at that specific location. We achieve this by doing the following. For workpieces with non-uniform mass distribution, tighter windings should be applied in regions where the mass is more concentrated.
Failing to do so can lead to faster heating of thinner parts, potentially resulting in overheating and the risk of burning the Flexible Inductor. It is crucial to adjust the winding accordingly, ensuring proper heat distribution and avoiding any negative effects on the workpiece and/or the Flexible Inductor. |

When working with workpieces that have a uniform mass distribution, it is important to wind the Flexible Inductor tighter at the edges. This approach ensures a uniform input of heat throughout the workpiece. Failure to do so may result in colder edges that impede the removal of the ring.
By applying tighter windings at the edges, the heat can be evenly distributed, enhancing the transfer of heat. Paying attention to this aspect helps to achieve optimal results and ensures that the ring can be successfully removed from the workpiece. |

When dealing with narrow workpieces, it is necessary to apply multiple layers of winding on top of each other to enable the required power to be introduced into the workpiece. In a lot of cases, this is the only way to achieve the minimum amount of windings required. Always try to apply as many windings as possible. We refer to this method of coil distribution as stacking. |
